Josh and Lisa were married on 30Th Dec 07 on a cold winters day! shooting winter weddings throws a number of problems at a wedding photographer! its usually very cold and the bride groom and guests don’t really want to be outside! and there’s not much light around! so being at the lovely location of Lumley castle in County Durham,we decided to use the spectacular interior of the castle. of course we had the added bonus of all the Christmas decorations to help spice up the backgrounds and re-enforce the Christmas wedding theme. Using our video lighting allows us to create this type of image in very low light conditions, ( of course having a beautiful bride and hansom groom like these two helps) we did manage to get them out in the courtyard for a few pics and I’m glad we did as they look great with the fairy light backgrounds. over all they were a pleasure to photograph and i think we achieved some very special wedding photographs.
